Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Commodore for the 2008 season. I know that we will all have an enjoyable and productive year.

Our yacht club is on good condition and we have a wonderful newly refurbished pool that we can all be proud of. The house and grounds are ready for the 2008 season and proudly maintained by their respective committees. The dock committee is striving to fulfill your boating expectations, and the dredge committee is working diligently to obtain the necessary permits to deepen the basin. Your planning committee contains to offer guidance to all of us as well as promoting fiscal responsibility.

To maintain our continued success, we look forward to the active participation of all members both boating and social. This makes our volunteer club such a wonderful place to belong too. Bring your family and friends and let them enjoy the experiences we have to offer and encourage them to join as well. Please attend our Friday night dinners as well as the other social events we put on –You won’t be disappointed!

We have many happy memories to look back upon as we begin our 113^th season, as well at working to generate some new ones with our fellow club members, our families, their families and friends.

Lets all hope for warm and sunny weather this year and that we all enjoy a safe and happy 2008 boating and swimming season.
